About R-410A Refrigerant
R-410A is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant commonly used in air conditioning and heat pump systems. It was widely adopted as an alternative to R-22 due to R-22's ozone-depleting properties.
R-410A has very low temperature glide and minimal fractionation potential. Because it operates at significantly higher pressures than R-22, it should only be used in air conditioning and heat pump systems specifically designed and approved for R-410A.
